I’ve discovered the best affordable pure essential oils brand after going down a google wormhole. It’s name, Plant Therapy.
My mom introduced me to essential oils growing up. I still remember my first set of oils she gave me for Christmas one year. The love affair started then. I like all things potions and lotions, but I can’t handle synthetic fragrance anymore. It keeps me extra mindful of how toxic “fragrance” is. So thank goodness for pure essential oils.

Pure Essential Oils Uses
I mainly use pure essential oils to put on the pulse points of my skin (especially when meditating) and diffuse in my diffusers. There is a diffuser in my bedroom and one in the living room. I just use a few drops since I don’t like it too strong, but anytime I’m in the mood for a little scent or want their therapeutic properties in the air, I turn the diffusers on. My bedroom will occasionally smell like a pizza oven when I have oregano in the diffuser at night. Oregano oil is good for colds, viral infections, and the lungs.
Essential Oil Brands
There are two big-time essential oil companies out there, and I have personally only used Young Living out of the two. My girlfriend gifts me most of my Young Living products, and it’s such a treat. I am currently using their hand sanitizer, lavender lip balm, and lavender essential oil. Their grounding oil was my meditation oil for a bit (and my husband’s). Pretty sure he used half of that bottle and now he uses essential oils every day. He has not sprayed his cologne on for years because of me, so I’m thankful he’s now found essential oils to replace it.
I’m now eyeing up their gratitude bottle, mostly because I am drawn to the name, but it’s also an amazing blend of oils. Their Thieves household cleaner is another one great during the holidays. It smells spicy and warm.
Affordable Pure Essential Oils Brand
As much as I enjoy Young Living products, they are pricey. You get what you pay for, but in some cases saving money doesn’t always mean scarified quality. I needed a few new essential oils to make some homemade toothpaste and didn’t want to spend $100 on making it. So I went on an extensive internet hunt. I wanted to see if there was another brand out there that was top quality, but more affordable. I would also be using the sought after oils in my mouth, so I was not going to take any chances if I didn’t find another reputable brand. Long story short, I found one. It’s called Plant Therapy. I cannot recommend them enough. Besides hitting all of my quality requirements, the oils feel softer on my skin, have the perfect pure scents, and the right amount of potency.
We offer only 100% pure, high-quality essential oils, carrier oils, and CBD… and we have the testing to back it up. Any ingredient we source must be flawless in the test report or we send it back. My Current Plant Therapy Oils
I needed Thyme, Frankincense, and Peppermint to make my toothpaste, so those were the ones I ordered. I was not sure which Frankincense I preferred so I ordered two. Although I like them both, I like the Frankincense Carterii when used alone on my body. The scent reminds me and my husband of Tulum. It’s the one we have been grabbing a lot during meditation now. (I’ve also been really into lime during meditation lately. Who knows…) Anyways, the Organic Frankincense Serrata is the one I use in my toothpaste. I use the Plant Therapy Peppermint in my toothpaste as well as my body. I dab it on my wrists as a pick-me-up during the day. It’s my favorite peppermint oil I have used to date.
Needless to say, I will be ordering many more Plant Therapy oils.
