I have slowly started to build a collection of wellness tools + devices over the years. However, before I share them, I want you to know that there are free wellness “tools + devices” available to us. The top 3 that come to mind are Silence, Meditation, and Time in Nature. Sitting in silence for a good period of time without any distractions helps tap into our highest form of thinking – our intuition. Great things come to us and happen to us sitting in silence.
My Wellness Tools + Devices
- Infrared Sauna Blanket – I go in spurts with using this routinely, but on the weeks I use it 3 times a week or so, I feel extra good. I can’t pinpoint one thing – maybe lighter and extra relaxed. It has a trickle down effect for me as most wellness gadgets and tools do. When I use it faithfully, I also drink more water, want to workout, practice more self-care, slow down, I sleep extra hard, etc…. It gives a good sweat towards the end of the session too. Even though I become hot and uncomfortable at the end, it really is worth it to release more toxins. You are also not exerting energy like you would be when working out which is a positive thing when you want to recover or relax. Sometimes I cheat and put my arms out at the end, but I try to make sure my face is sweaty before I get out. I wrote a full post on it here as well. HERHEALTHYSTYLE15 saves 15%
- Red Light Face Mask – I’m faithful with using this at least 3 times a week right now. I am in a routine of using it in the morning before I get up or during the day. It improves skin over time, gives you an instant glow when you are done, and not only feels calming, but also boosts the mood. I wrote a full post on it here with the many benefits. - Gua Sha – Even doing a few minutes of Gua Sha perks up my face, improves circulation, and drains lymph. I do it at least 3 days a week after I apply my morning face oil. The rare times I spend a longer amount of time using it, I feel extra relaxed. herhealthystyle10 saves 10%
- Facial Cupping Set – I just got these cupping tools. I dragged my feet forever since I didn’t know if I would use them enough to be worth the $, but I am already a fan. It improves lymphatic drainage, blood flow, improves skin over time, and instantly gives a nice subtle plum and glow. You need to get the right amount of gentle suction without too much and move similar to as you would use a Gua Sha. I like that there is a small one for the eye and lip area. You’ll find a tutorial through the linked cupping set. I did a bit of searching and comparison and ultimately ended up with the linked set.
- Dry Brush – Stimulates the lymphatic system to move and drain out toxins, exfoliates the skin, softens skin, reduces cellulite, and gives an invigorating feeling. Dry Brushing Post + Video herhealthystyle10 saves 10%
- Rebounder – It gets my heart rate up, my blood flowing and moving, improves lymphatic drainage, and is just a great overall exercise. I set the timer for 13 minutes many days a week. (13 is just a meaningful number for me and around the time I want to jump 🙂 ) Video in this post.
- Ankle/Wrist Weights – I bought these because they were a cheaper, but similar dupe than the Bala Bangles. However, since buying them the price raised. Now they are pretty similar in price at the moment. I use the one pound weights sometimes when I do my 10-15 minute mat workouts.
- Magnesium Flakes – Not a device, but I consider magnesium baths a big wellness thing for me. This is a high absorption, relaxing magnesium to soak in. I only use one extra large handful or two small handfuls to stretch out the flakes, but I still feel the results. If I was feeling under the weather or really sore, I would use more.
- Castor Oil Liver Pack – I wear this most nights to aid in liver detox and cleanse the colon. Pricey, but there is not a better kit out there IMO. I have a post on it here.
- Neck and Back Massager – A newer one in our house, but I wanted to include it if you might be looking for something like this. It has about 60,000 reviews on Amazon….
