Lou Corona’s Lemon Ginger Blast Juice

January 15, 2024

Lou Corona’s Lemon Ginger Blast Juice is ultra cleansing and PACKED full of nutrients. It is a spicy one, so start with a small amount of habanero if you are not the biggest spicy fan. He does cut his juice with some water at the end as well. The only juice I’ve done that with, but I can see why. I tasted it and just splashed in a little water.

I don’t know anything about Lou Corona other than he is a raw vegan health advocate who is in his early 70’s and seems a lot younger. He swears by this juice and drinks it every day. I’ve been seeing his juice here & there, and finally wanted to try it out. I’m a BIG fan of it! I see it being a regular in my rotation. It is a lot of ingredients, but every one is serving a purpose to better our health. Plus, it makes an extra big juice. You’ll probably find that many of the ingredients are staple ingredients you already buy too.

Of course if you don’t always have everything on hand, use what you do have!

Lou Corona’s Lemon Ginger Blast Juice

This is meant to be one large serving, but I split this with my husband. I got about 40 oz in the Nama J2 Juicer (I did have an extra large cucumber). Code RIANE55 saves $55 off the J2 Juicer.

Ingredients

  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 celery bunch
  • 2 handfuls of spinach
  • 1 cilantro bunch
  • 1 parsley bunch, Italian or curly
  • 1 handful of mint
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 apples
  • 1/2-1 habanero. These are HOT. Wash your hands! 🙂
  • 3 inches ginger
  • 3 inches turmeric
  • Cut with a little bit of water in the end after juicing it. (see video below)

Method

  1. Wash & cut the produce into the appropriate sizes for your juicer.
  2. Run the produce through your juicer.
  3. He cuts this juice with up to 1/3 part water in the end. I personally just splashed in a small amount (see video below).
  4. ENJOY that kick and boost of energy!
