Another way to wrap a salad. Often times I say use the “recipe” as a guide with raw veggie type meals, but I think you should follow this one exactly as is. Nori is seaweed and an accustomed taste for many, but I think this exact mix tastes good to even the skeptics. It took me awhile to actually enjoy seaweed and now I’ll even eat nori sheets on their own. Nori is an amazing source of iodine which is helpful for our thyroid and B12. The Best Nori Veggie Wraps:
The Best Nori Veggie Wraps
Ingredients
- Nori wraps
- Avocado, mash onto the bottom of the wrap with a fork
- Parsley, both parsley and the lime add so much to this
- Lime squeeze
- Carrot ribbons, press down firmly on your peeler to get ribbons
- Red cabbage, finely sliced
- Cucumber, sliced into long thin strips
- Bell pepper, sliced into long thin strips
- Coconut Aminos, for dipping
Method
You want a little of all but not overly stuffed so it’s easy to wrap. Start with some avocado (1/4 of one) about an inch from the bottom and mash down with a fork. Add some parsley on top of the avocado and then squeeze a little lime over the parsley and avocado. Now proceed with the rest above – all just a little of each. Carefully roll. You can seal the top edge with some water. Use a sharp knife to cut. Enjoy! See my video to watch how I make one.
