This is a simple green juice recipe that you stick to as is or customize to your liking and what you have on hand. Not a fan of heat, skip the jalapeño. Want it a bit sweeter, add an apple. Have fresh herbs on hand, you can add those too! I enjoy drinking a range of juices, but the type I drink most often are green juices. They are incredible for our health. Drink a green juice a day for a month or two and see how much better you start to feel. If for some strange reason you don’t feel any different, which I doubt, just keep drinking it for your health. I promise that green juice is worth the extra effort and time it takes to make. I drank 16 oz plain celery juice on an empty stomach for 4 years before branching out; it had a profound impact on my health. So yes, I highly recommend just plain celery juice as well.
Simple Green Juice Recipe
Serves 1-2
Ingredients
- 1 large cucumber
- 1 large celery bunch
- 1 lemon
- 1″ ginger
- optional, 1/2 jalapeño
Optional add-ins to play around with: apples for some sweetness, fresh herbs like parsley/cilantro/mint, large handful of greens like spinach or kale. I also have two other green juice recipes if you scroll down.
Method
- Wash & cut the produce into the appropriate sizes for your juicer.
- Run the produce through your juicer & enjoy!
