My favorite purchases of 2024.
In the Kitchen.
The chic looking mini Beast Blender for blending my smaller amounts of sauces, dips, dressings, and drinks. Of course they came out with the Beast Mighty after I bought mine. I wish mine was slightly bigger many times, so if you are eyeing these blenders I would lean towards the Mighty size if in need of a smaller blender that’s still big enough for more options.
After buying more Le Parfait Jars to put my various loose teas, herbs, and spices on the counter in plain view, they get used so much more. They are the best quality and look good too.
FGO has become my go-to tea brand for loose tea and bagged tea when at home. I still have and buy Traditional Medicinals since the bagged tea is wrapped individually (I keep a few bags in my purse), but FGO is less expensive and great quality. The 100 bags are the best value, but I sometimes buy the smaller options when I don’t use a certain tea as much. The smaller bags are also a more convenient option to pack when I go to our cottage. Use the dropdown on Amazon to see the many different tea types and sizes.
My most used cups to drink all of my hot concoctions out of. I love the matte black and how comfortable it is to hold with the thumb. I use the latte size most often.
All things Material Kitchen.
Their pieces are functional and oh so beautiful to display in the kitchen. The most recent one, a green glass Cloud Pitcher by Material Kitchen doubles as a fun vase in my kitchen. I use their resting stones to rest my lemon squeezer on and as a spoon rest by the stovetop. I’m currently using their walnut salt sphere in two ways – the bottom part to hold garlic and the top part swiveled opened to hold some Matcha packets. Some pieces were gifted. Code RIANEMATERIAL saves 20% if there is not already a sale going on.
What looks like an adult easy bake oven on my counter is in fact a 6 in 1 mini Wonder Oven. It bakes, roasts, toasts, reheats, broils, and air-fries all while taking up very little space on the counter. I honestly didn’t want to give up any more counter space in my kitchen for it, but once I saw the dimensions – 11.6″ height, 10.6″ depth, 11.5″ width – I realized I could make it work. The big perk for me is that it heats up 75% faster than an oven. I use it mostly to bake, toast, and reheat. It’s perfect for making food for 1 or 2 people. Comes in more fun colors. While I use it to air-fry too, if you are wanting it as a sole air-fryer, I would look at sole air fryers.
Fun Picks.
I wore these cream polarized sunglasses the most out of my stash in the past year. They are an incredible quality and such a steal for nice sunglasses.
If you happen to have an iPhone 15 Pro, this sunny yellow phone case is just that – sunny! It’s also easy to spot with the bright color.
For Travel.
While super recent purchases, I already love them both. I treated myself to the small CALPAK cosmetics case (comes in SO many colors) to store my skincare and other toiletries for travel in. I eyed it for a few years and didn’t want to spend the money on it, but I finally did during their Black Friday sale. Being able to see everything at a glance in my jumble of products makes me happy. I like the size too.
I wanted an aluminum suitcase for a long time and ended up purchasing their Ambeur carry-on in silver (comes in more colors) to get the look I’m after. It’s not aluminum so it isn’t nearly as nice of finish/material, but I caved with the less expensive option. This is against how I usually shop/spend too. I believe you should buy the best your money can buy (well within your means) and save until you get what you really want. Well made items last so much longer so usually you save money in the long run and are living with items you absolutely LOVE and not still thinking about the one….. With all of this said, the CALPAK is really pretty (I love everything silver/chrome/stainless) and it rolls like a dream. I’ve used it twice for my longer trips to WI since getting it. Even though I don’t fly often, I go to WI often. While I’m schlepping all things out my condo door, to an elevator, then to a garage it’s nice to have some wheels that turn every which way. It easily scratches, but I knew that before I got it. Only time will tell if I wish I bought this one instead.
This Neoprene Duffle is great for a short weekend trip or carry-on. I wish it was a bit bigger as I always have it overflowing and never zipped, but I would buy it again. It’s really nice.
Supplements.
These are not my most used supplements, but rather two that stuck out as super helpful. Organic Olivia’s Parapro to clean up my microbiome and some spots on my skin. Regardless of how healthy we live, we will always be exposed to bugs, parasites, etc. I will always be proactive and rotate in supplements like this to help out. It’s potent, so depending on what you are dealing with, you could feel some major die off symptoms. Read everything about it and start slow if you decide if it’s for you. I did not having any die off symptoms other than feeling tired the first few days. I also paired the cleanse duration with her probiotics to really help out: 1 Not Your Average Probiotic in the morning and 1 Flora-V at night before bed.
While I take other Vitamin C and Propolis supplements, these Liposomal (optimal absorption) Vitamin C packets with propolis are so convenient to keep in my purse or suitcase on the go. If either me or my husband are exposed to anything or start feeling off, I swear we take one or two for two consecutive days and feel back on track. We both think they taste terrible, but make a big noticeable difference.
Clean Beauty Picks.
RMS eyelights in sunbeam really brightens up my eyes and perks up my face when I use it. It just feels fun too. While I like this eye serum the best, since it’s extra pricey I rotate in other less expensive products often. Almond oil happens to be one of them. I picked up this almond oil at a small natural grocery store last year and I’ve found it to be the best one I’ve tried. It was also on clearance at the grocery store, so it was even less.
Most Inspiring Book.
Super Attractor by Gabrielle Bernstein was my most read and reread book last year.
To Keep Me Organized.
The soft Moleskine weekly large planner has become my go-to. My handwriting is atrocious unless I really try, but my endless scribbles and notes keep me somewhat organized. I can’t find the soft 2025 on Amazon, maybe I’m overlooking it? I got it at a local shop, but here is the hard version that looks the same as mine on Amazon.
