Best Clean Ingredient Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Tonics & Aperitif
There are more and more non-alcoholic spritzers, tonics, and aperitifs being made now due to the growing rate of people who are giving up or drastically cutting back on alcohol. I am here for it.
Everyone has a different relationship with alcohol. I’ve personally never had a bad relationship with alcohol, still drink on occasion, and have zero plans of giving it up. I really enjoy a small glass of red wine. Regardless with our relationship with it though, alcohol is a toxin and the less we have the better. And for anyone who needs to hear it, we do not need alcohol to have fun. That toxic message is simply not true. There is a deeper rooted issue if someone can only have fun with alcohol….
Whether you don’t drink, rarely drink, are trying to cut back on drinking, or just want NA options for your guests, my number one recommendation is sunwink.
Sunwinks ingredients are not only extremely clean, they have health promoting blends that taste amazing too! They also come in a glass bottle.
The 6 Sunwink Tonic Flavors (without any toxic “flavor” in the ingredient list):
- Digestion Lemon – Dandelion, Lemon Balm & Chicory – helps with digestion and debloat
- Lemon-Rose Uplift – Lemon Balm, Rose, Hibiscus – helps relax and lift your spirits
- Immunity Berry – Goji Berry, Elderberry, Ginger – supercharges your immune system
- Hibiscus Mint Unwind – Hibiscus, Mint, Ashwaganda – refreshes and relaxes
- Detox Ginger Tonic – Ginger, Burdock, Dandelion – known to stimulate digestion
- Turmeric Recover Tonic – Turmeric, Ginger, Rosemary – know for circulation support
I generally get the mixed variety pack unless there is a sale on a certain flavor, then I’ll get that. I truly enjoy all the flavors though and choose one around my mood. If I had to pick, my top 3 would be Lemon-Rose Uplift, Digestion Lemon, and Detox Ginger. I love lemon and ginger though.
I’ll often bring one of these with me to parties as they are so convenient to just grab and go. You don’t need anything else to mix with it. They do need to stay refrigerated though. Keep that in mind when you order a case from their website. You’ll need the space in your fridge.
I also want to mention a non-alcoholic aperitif here as well. De Soi’s Golden Hour, a new company Katy Perry co-founded, is absolutely incredible. The other two flavors in the line don’t meet my personal ingredient cut, but it’s not needed since Golden Hour’s citrus, herby, floral aperitif is amazing. It’s super pricey at $25 for 4 small cans, so I won’t be buying it often, but it’s a treat for sure. And compared to a drink out, it’s still a bargain (at least in Chicago). I grab it at Fox Trot in Chicago, but you can look at their store locator to see if there is a place near you. You can also order directly from their website as well.
Pour yourself a glass of non-alcoholic sparkling goodness and enjoy! Tag me @herhealthystyle on Instagram if you try one out! Xx Riane
