Mark found this Masala Mama Boom Boom Curry Sauce at Whole Foods and it is good for what it is. I like that I can whip up a good dinner pretty quickly with it. Read the ingredients to make sure it makes your own cut, but for a jar sauce, it does for me. It’s much healthier than takeout Indian and gives our taste-buds some Indian spices which we love.
The Boom Boom Curry does have a unique flavor and the dates in it make it taste sweeter, but it worked out perfectly to elevate a simple veggie meal. The sauce made eating a lot of veggies more enjoyable. That’s a win in my book. Masala Mama also has other creamier delicious looking sauces as well if you feel like something a little richer. Nuts are giving those sauces the creaminess. I will absolutely be trying some of those sauces out eventually. You could also add some coconut milk to the sauces as well depending on what you are making and feeling like.

Ingredients
Method
- Sauté diced onion and jalapeno in water or coconut oil.
- Add the diced zucchini to the same pan and steam with a cover on. Stir here and there so that the zucchini doesn’t stick to the pan.
- Meanwhile, cook the frozen bag of riced cauliflower and frozen broccoli on the stovetop in a separate pan.
- Heat the jar of boom boom sauce in a small sauce pan throughout this time and make sure your 1 cup of quinoa or rice (if using) is ready to go.
- Once all the veggies are cooked, mix everything together in the largest pan or a large mixing bowl. Stir well so that the sauce is throughout. ENJOY!
