You know I’m always switching up my green smoothie; this was the green smoothie of the moment. Ha. I started writing this blog post last week when it was what I making every day. This week I’ve been doing various green smoothies without any fruit in them. Once I get one down that seems worth sharing, I will.
I split the following recipe with my husband, so I’m writing this as two servings, but of course, as always, adjust to your/your family’s needs.
You may like this similar Go-To Green Smoothie written as one 32 oz serving. I use the same amount of fruit in my current recipe for 2 servings and this one for 1 serving, with the exception of the Medjool date.

This Cleansing Green Pineapple Smoothie is a good one when you want to switch things up.

TIDBIT: One thing I’ve been doing these past few months is buying whole flaxseeds instead of ground flaxseed. I kept hearing how buying whole flaxseed (I buy different brands depending on where I’m buying) and freshly grinding them is so much better for potency and actual absorption. To make it easier to clean the blender, I’ll sometimes add a week’s worth to a coffee grinder and then store in a jar in the fridge. Some Flaxseed Benefits: Omega 3’s, improves brain function, reduces inflammation, helps balance hormones, high in fiber, improves digestion and elimination
