This blueberry protein smoothie bowl feels like a delicious treat, yet it is so healthy. It’s thick and creamy so you can enjoy it with a spoon to really savor the goodness. What makes this one taste extra good though is the vanilla in it, so be sure not to skip it! I enjoy this as a snack, but you can easily double it to make it more filling. I personally would keep the hemp hearts to no more than 3 TBSP though. 3 TBSP hemp hearts = a whopping 9-10 grams of protein to make you feel more full. You could also substitute this with a protein powder of your choice too. I prefer hemp hearts, but my husband prefers the Sunwarrior Vanilla Protein powder. It makes smoothies taste extra dessert-like.
How to Freeze Bananas
When freezing bananas, try to wait until your bananas are spotty and ripe so that they taste sweet. Ripe, spotty bananas also digest better. A win win. Tidbit: When freezing bananas, make sure you peel them prior to sticking them in the freezer.
