Meet Anastasia: Love Peace Organic
Anastasia Taras is the founder of the clean beauty website called Love Peace Organic. I first came across Love Peace Organic while searching for Under Luna’s shampoo and conditioner. I looked through her product offering on her website, LOVED what I saw (I use a lot of it myself), and knew I needed to follow her. She kindly reached out and we connected after that. You know she is nice, since she happens to be from Wisconsin!
You won’t just find skincare products on her website either. She combines holistic beauty AND modern wellness all while encompassing products with eco-friendly packaging and sustainability. She even has a One Tree Planted “product” on her website where you can pay $1 towards planting a tree. Love.
I decided to reach out to Anastasia and pick her brain for the rest of us!
Tell us a little about yourself and your background.
I am a mom to two amazing girls (10 and 4 years old). We live in Wisconsin where I was born and raised. I am first generation Greek American; both my parents were immigrants from Greece. My husband is also first-generation Greek American! In college I studied nursing but switched to a degree in Fashion Business. I worked in editorial styling for a few years and even got my cosmetology license. I always loved fashion and beauty. I later worked in product development for a large retailer. After having my first daughter I decided to stay home with her and feel so fortunate to have been able to do so. Once becoming a mom, I was passionate about organic living, and holistic health. I was constantly researching products and ingredients in search for the best options for my family. Organic products weren’t always easy to find in the Midwest.
What Made You Want To Start Love Peace Organic?
Honestly what really sparked the idea was while I was home during the pandemic, I found myself ordering products from a ton of different websites. With the cost of shipping and the delays I felt like there could be an easier way to shop all my favorite brands. I was homeschooling my eldest daughter and my second daughter was almost 2 at the time, we had a lot more free time. We used our time to be in nature and really slow down. I was able to brainstorm and research.
Through other moms on Instagram, I even found some of my favorite brands that I now carry. My vision was to make it fun to shop clean beauty and wellness. I wanted to be able to help other moms and women by providing non-toxic products that they could feel safe using. I know how time consuming it can be to research products and since there are so many greenwashed brands it is hard to know what is truly safe to use.
I love using the term holistic beauty because it is an all-encompassing approach to a healthy body, mind, and soul, which results in healthier radiant skin. With Love Peace Organic I wanted to create a lifestyle of love, curate products that give you peace and that are organic and effective.
What is the most toxic product most women use daily? What is your favorite clean swap for this?
I would say deodorant can be one of the most toxic products women use daily.
I really love both the Agent Nateur holi (rose) and the Mademoiselle Swell deodorants!
On average, women use 12 personal care products a day, exposing themselves to 168 chemical ingredients.
Love Peace Organic
Favorite skincare product for that youthful complexion we all want?
Favorite undereye product?
Agent Nateur holi (glow) for during the day and the Living Libations All Seeing Eye Cream for nighttime.
Best beauty tip?
Oil Cleanse! I was actually scared to try this at first but once I tried it, I never went back to using face wash. I noticed my skin was so much more radiant and moisturized after oil cleansing. If you use the proper oil (non-comedogenic) you won’t clog your pores or feel greasy. The oil bonds to the dirt and excess oil on your skin, you are left feeling hydrated. My favorites are from Living Libations.

Favorite skincare tool?
Gua Sha Stone! I am really loving our new Chloe stone, the Rose Quartz is so beautiful and the shape of the stone makes it really easy to use.
I know you have some of the best products at your fingertips, BUT if you could only have 3 beauty products, what would they be?
Best Skin Ever Seabuckthorn, ATHR Big Bang Mascara, and my Tek Brush!
Best place in WI to get a facial?
Allie Stark Holistic Wellness in Delafield, Allie is AMAZING and uses organic products!
Favorite wellness product?
Liver Juice from Organic Olivia
What do you think the most overlooked product on your website is? The one the rest of us should know about?
There are so many but I would say the Ozonated DewDab Beauty Balm from Living Libations is a MUST! I LOVE using this after cleansing and before I apply foundation. It gives you such a dewy and hydrated complexion. Some of the amazing ingredients include ozonated jojoba, chamomile, rose, and frankincense! Give it a try you won’t regret it!
What does your morning routine look like?
Most mornings I dry brush with my Province Apothecary facial brush, oil cleanse then use holi (water) combined with holi (c). I add a bit more oil for extra moisture along with my eye cream from Agent Nateur. I try to squeeze in gua sha at least 3-4x a week as well!

Typical breakfast?
I drink water first thing in the morning with minerals added in. I like the pure natural seawater from QuintEssential. I either make a green smoothie or eggs with Deland Bakery Zucchini bread.
Your go-to healthy dinner.
Chicken stir fry with a ton of vegetables and brown rice! I use coconut aminos instead of soy sauce.
Favorite go-to drink.
Matcha with oat milk, honey, cinnamon, and Agent Nateur holi (mane)! I have also been drinking Sunwink sparkling tonics lately, I love the Hibiscus Mint and the Immunity Berry!
If you leave the house to grab food or a drink, where are you headed?
Nourish Juice Bar, my favorite juice there is Revitalize! I also love their bakery items and DayDream truffles.
What book are you currently reading?
You Are More Than You Think You Are by Kimberly Snyder.
Favorite form of self-care?
I love using my facial reflexology tool before bed, it really relaxes me and feels so good! After that I use my red light, I have the handheld one from BioLight and love it.
I also love doing pilates and try to go 3-4x a week, I always feel so refreshed and strong afterwards.
I saw “Less Is More” on your website pertaining to skincare and the amount of ingredients in beauty products. Do you live by this in other areas of your life as well or do you have a favorite motto you like to live by?
I really do believe that Less is More is something that I try to live by in most areas of my life.
That includes the food I buy for my family, less ingredients more wholesome foods. Our products we use have fewer ingredients and are more plant based. Less screen time for my kids, more wholesome books, art, and play time outside. I try to limit obligations, and activities so our family still has down time to recharge and maintain peace. I also believe that less ‘noise’ means more peace, better health, and more happiness.

A big thank you to Anastasia for sharing this all with us! I ended up grabbing the Ozonated DewDab Beauty Balm because of her and she is right – it is amazing! Besides having great skin repairing ingredients, it really makes my skin glow when I use it. It is a tiny jar, but a little goes a long way.
Grateful you are following along! xx Riane
