I’m learning my roundups are just as popular if not more than my recipe posts and I’m not sad about it! I love doing these type of posts too. Any hoo, here is a summer style roundup with mostly go-to basics.
Great looking reusable and washable grocery/on-the-go bags. I have the one strap ones, but these with two handles caught my attention. They are just so easy to carry, are light, and hold a lot more than they look. I’ve had mine for years and while they have a few holes, they have held up overall.
I already did a summer haul for this year so I don’t need this one, but I’m sharing it incase you might! I just love it. It’s reversible too! I can see it paired with jean shorts or fun baggy Boho pants.
If you need a basic white t-shirt, you can’t beat this one for the price. It’s a steal. I have it and it feels and looks great.
We could all use a go-to hat for summer. The bucket hat is flattering on most. I have an Eric Javitz bucket hat in blue (no longer made), but if I wanted a neutral one, this is the one I would grab. There is also this Jenni Kayne (more of a splurge) that mixes a bucket shape hat with a wider brim hat.
I bought my fresh water pearl necklace at a boutique in Costa Rica, but I found this one that has a 3″ extender with the option to add on different charms. The yellow thread may not be for everyone, but I think it’s fun and fresh!
If there is something I could actually use in my wardrobe, it would swimsuits. I just don’t like ordering and trying on suits…or spending the $ on them when I’m not in them often enough right now. This suit looks like a classic and I love the surfer style. It comes in more fun colors too. If this one isn’t quite your style, but you like the one piece surfer look, click on the picture and you’ll see more great options right below it. The best style suit is the one we feel most comfortable in on a given day…
This is so beautifully made and super soft. The small picture does not do it justice. I have the long sleeve version, but there is this one and one in a longer length. Sizing is generous FYI if you are in-between sizes. Colors: Beige, Black, and White. Priced great for quality clothing.
An oversized easy breezy linen shirt that is super soft, great for the heat, and could pair with many outfits. I almost didn’t keep this one since it is so oversized with an extra large pocket, but it’s just one of those classics that can be worn for years to come. Plus, I love the collar. It comes in many colors if you don’t feel like taking care of white.
I got this dress two years ago in yellow and it’s one of my favorite summer dresses that I can dress up or down. It comes in so many colors, so if one looks like it’s sold out, click on another color.
A non-wardrobe item I’m throwing in the mix. This might be one of my holy grail products now and I passed it up so many times. It makes natural nails look so much better. I’m never great at sitting still for this type of stuff, but once I force myself to sit and do it, it turns into a self-pampering time. For the DIY sugar scrub – I use coconut sugar and coconut oil. Don’t worry, it comes with a code to scan for directions and show you how to use the kit. If you paint your nails more in the summer like I do, it also makes nail polish come off your nails so much easier. code – herhealthystyle10 saves 10% at Love Peace Organic
One of those pieces that you can wear by itself or stack with more which is what I usually do. My chain necklace that I wear often is 10K gold, I paid too much for it, and it’s a pain to clean with a jewelry cloth. Needless to say, I won’t recommend my exact one, but this one is reviewed well. It’s just not a choker if you prefer a shorter length….
I was not a fan of what I tried on me, but we are all different here so I want to share these options too. The feel and quality was there, just not the cuts that I ordered. Super soft, well made swim separates and one piece suits for a steal of a deal.
My go-to denim jean shorts. I like my Levi’s too, but I wear this more relaxed version more. I kept my normal 26 size even though people said to size down; I just wanted them super comfortable and not tight. I will say I am careful about putting my legs in the shorts so I don’t tear the rips. I’m on year two with them and they wash well. The price tag is too high for jean shorts and I didn’t want to spend the $, but I was also sick of looking for a pair that were cute and relaxed. If you have a ton of jeans and don’t need them all, you could always cut off a pair of your jeans and turn them into shorts too…. 🙂
