I’ve been having this “summer green juice” as I’m calling it as of lately. The cucumber makes it feel extra hydrating and delicious. Asparagus is just so good for us and more abundant in summer. The mint makes it feel fresh and there is just something about picking it from my balcony pot each morning. There is also celery in it, optional pineapple if you want some sweetness, and the non-optional lemon as lemon makes every green juice taste better.
Summer Green Juice
Makes around 32 oz in the Nama J2 Juicer*
INGREDIENTS
- 1 large cucumber, I leave the skin on as there is extra silica in the skin
- 1 large celery bunch
- 6 large/thick stalks of asparagus or 10 thin stalks
- 1 lemon, I juice the peel too (wash well)
- 10-15 large mint leaves
- optional, 1 cup pineapple for a bit of sweetness and extra good enzymes for the gut
METHOD
- Wash & cut the produce into the appropriate sizes for your juicer.
- Run the produce through your juicer & enjoy!
*Nama Juicers: Code RIANE55 saves $55 off the J2, $45 off the J3, and 10% off everything else on their site.
