Current Clean Skincare Routine

Current Clean Skincare Routine Products For Morning and Nighttime

My skincare routine changes depending on the season, new products that come out and take over old favorites, and wanting to switch up scents. I also just love skincare and trying different products. So if you ever see me switching, that’s why. It doesn’t mean my old products didn’t work. In fact, I often rotate old favorites back in eventually. My skin also responds really well when I change up my clean skincare routine. Even within my current routine, you’ll see I rotate between some products.

If you ever have any questions or want help deciding between a product to order, don’t hesitate to reach out! I will help if I can. I have more skincare and makeup recommendations in my ShopMy as well.

Morning Clean Skincare Routine

  1. Put on my Red Light Face Mask right after the alarm goes off most days. Tightens pores, minimizes redness, supports collagen production, improves acne/blemishes, minimizes fine lines and wrinkles, reduces inflammation, gives an immediate glow, helps your circadian rhythm first thing in the morning, supports melatonin production and cellular recovery. I can’t recommend it enough. code HERHEALTHYSTYLE15 for 15% off
  2. Cleanse: This one varies for me. I’m such a scent person and it depends what I’m feeling. Sometimes I oil cleanse with Leven Rose Jojoba oil with a few drops of frankincense essential oil added into the bottle, sometimes it’s the sea buckthorn BEST SKIN EVER (I love this one, it’s just pricier for how much I would go through for face wash), and lately I can’t get enough of the blue tansy scent in Apoterra’s Chamomile & Tansy Hydrating Cream Cleanser. There are also days I skip a cleanser all together and just splash my face with cold water a handful of times. If I skip a cleanser, I usually apply this Neroli Clarifyng Complexion Mist. It’s a really great 4-in-1 mist.
  3. Tone: Mix a small bit of True Botanicals Vitamin C Booster (good for dark spots) and 2-3 small pumps of Agent Nateur’s Hyaluronic Pearl & Rose Essence Holi Water (nicely plumps, exfoliates, brightens, tightens, and tones) on my fingertips and apply to face. Both bottles, while pricey, last a long while for me and make a noticeable difference. The holi water comes in two different sizes too. I tried the small size before buying the larger size.
  4. Mist: a little Heritage Rosewater or Apoterra’s Neroli Complexion Mist depending on the day to dampen my skin a bit prior to moisturizing.
  5. Under eyes: Agent Nateur ageless eye serum (my favorite – pricey, but lasts a long time) or tap on sweet almond oil. While I really like this almond oil under my eyes and it saves me $ from always applying the Agent Nateur, I have to be careful not to apply too much or I get a milia spot.
  6. Moisturize: with Leven Rose rosehip oil. I mixed in some Jojoba oil once the bottle got down about 25%. So 75% rosehip oil, 25% jojoba oil, and 2 or 3 drops of blue tansy oil (in the whole bottle) for the aromatherapy scent and skin benefits.
  7. Gua Sha a few days a week. More options: a comb edge, stainless steel
  8. SPF when I remember. This Solara one I’m using is skincare and SPF in one, hence the price. I will say it lasts twice as long as the Cocokind for me though (another great face SPF I recommend), so it’s really not that bad. If you would get the Solara SPF, apply it to damp skin so that it rubs in easily and you won’t have to use as much. I usually mist with rosewater right before. I also have SPF in this tinted radiance serum when I put makeup on. If I use this, than I skip the Solara.
