Zippy Tropical Pineapple Smoothie

This zippy tropical pineapple smoothie is just that. Zippy and tropical feeling. It's tart with some kick from the ginger and jalapeno, but sweet enough from the banana. The sunny yellow color adds to the cheerfulness, but even if you choose to add in kale or cilantro, you'll still have that tropical taste and feeling.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pineapple peel cut off and cut into chunks, I blend the core as well
  • 2 bananas fresh or frozen, if frozen cut into slices
  • 1 lime outer peel cut off
  • 1 jalapeno seeded
  • 1-2 " chunk of ginger depending on zippy preference
  • 2-3 cups water 3 if you use frozen banana
  • optional if you want some greens, add in some kale or cilantro

Method
 

  1. Add everything to a high speed blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
