Simple Garlic Lemon Olive Oil Salad Dressing

Simple Garlic Lemon Olive Oil Salad Dressing

A go-to simple garlic lemon olive oil salad dressing to toss with greens. I prefer it tossed with arugula or massaged curly kale. I'll eat the simple salad prior to the rest of my lunch or dinner or I'll use it as a base and toss it with steamed or baked veggies. If you love garlic, you'll love this one. It's really all to taste. Use an amount proportionate to the amount of greens you’re tossing it with. Just use tongs to tong it with the greens really well so that they are well coated. I use the below amount in a large single sized salad.
Total Time 5 minutes
Servings: 1
Course: Salad

Ingredients

  • 2-3 garlic cloves minced
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 1/2 lemon juiced, more if needed
  • drizzle of olive oil to preference

Method

  1. Add minced garlic to a tiny dish, add a pinch of sea salt, and then mash it down with the back of a spoon to somewhat form a paste. I do it for like 20 seconds and whatever it is at this point is great.
  2. Now add in lemon and a small dash of olive oil. Stir well.
  3. Add to salad greens. It won't look like much, but use tongs to tong the greens REALLY well so that your arugula or curly kale is well coated and broke down. This tong process makes the salad. Enjoy as a simple salad or pair with whatever you desire!
