This is a great one to include into your diet to ensure you are getting plenty of greens. If you don't enjoy eating lots of salads or raw fruits and vegetables, a smoothie is an easy way to get it all in. Oh, and yes, it helps give you that GLOW when drank daily.
1cupof filtered wateruse refrigerated filtered water to make the smoothie slightly cool
1/2head of romaine lettuce roughly chopped
3cupsof spinach
2stalks of celery roughly chopped
1applecored and roughly chopped
1pearcored and roughly chopped
One banana
1/2of a lemon - the peel cut off and seeded
Optional - 1/4 cup of fresh cilantro or fresh parsley
Method
Add the water, romaine, and spinach to your high speed blender and blend until smooth. Add the celery, apple, and pear to the blender and blend again until smooth. Lastly, add in your banana and lemon and blend. ENJOY!
