Hormone Happy Hemp Milk Drink

This Hormone Happy Chocolate Hemp Milk Drink is SO GOOD. It's delicious, mood boosting, helps hormones, and just feel like a big hug. It's a unique spin of a hot chocolate that acts as a snack or even breakfast after fruit for me some days. You can easily tweak this one to your needs/tastes.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1 tsp Organic Virgin Cold-Pressed coconut oil or small splash of coconut milk if you happen to have some open
  • 2 tsp carob or cacao powder I do carob 99% of the time
  • 1/2 tsp Ashwaganda powder
  • 1 tsp Maca root powder
  • 3 TBSP hemp hearts
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp ceylon cinnamon I do 1/2 (Ceylon cinnamon is sweeter and more mild than regular cassia cinnamon)
  • small dash or grate of nutmeg
  • 1 serving Pumpkin Seed Protein Powder
  • optional 1 soft Medjool date pitted - I don't use, but add if you want it sweeter

Method
 

  1. Heat up almond milk in a small saucepan on the stovetop.
  2. Add all of the ingredients to a high speed blender. Due to safety reason with blending hot liquid, only blend in a large blender. My small blender turned off right away due to the heat. I should have known better. BE CAREFUL when blending the hot liquid. Stop and vent the lid if needed. Blend until creamy. Pour in your favorite mug, put everything aside for the moment, and savor the goodness.
