Healthy Vanilla Malt

There is just something about that malt taste that always won me over a shake. If you like malts, you know what I'm talking about. Thankfully there is a root powder called maca that tastes like malt powder (without the poor ingredients) and has benefits to boot. Maca helps with stress, increased energy, hormonal balance, and increased libido. Stock up on those frozen bananas. I have a feeling you are really going to like this vanilla malt.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 frozen bananas sliced
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk I use homemade
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla powder
  • 1 tsp maca powder linked version I have is gelatinized for easy digestion/absorption
  • garnish dash of cinnamon on top

Method
 

  1. Slice the frozen bananas and let them sit out 1-2 minutes so that they slightly soften. Now, blend everything in a high speed blender. Add a smidge more almond milk if needed. Even though a straw is shown, I like it a bit thicker to eat it with a spoon. ENJOY!
