Method
- Option 1: I put the dandelion and chicory in my glass teapot and then pour in hot water from my tea kettle. I let it steep for close to 15 minutes. I have yet to use my glass tea kettle directly on the stovetop as I'm afraid it will break. The strainer on the top of the glass teapot works great for this.
- Option 2: Add the water, dandelion, chicory, and any optional add ins to a pot on the stovetop. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Pour it through a fine strainer into your cup. This one works great to make a hotter cup of coffee and tastes really good. However, I find the first one is easier during the day-to-day morning rush.
