Nature’s Vitamins + Minerals

April 20, 2023

Nature’s Vitamins + Minerals

The above are some key nutrients I watch out for, so I thought I would share with you.

B12 is another key one I watch for & I get that through supplementation. Right now I’m using Vimergy’s B12.

Magnesium – I still supplement with Magnesium almost daily. I take it prior to going to bed to help me feel more relaxed and improve my sleep. I love & need good sleep. 🙂 I also take it to increase regularity, which then releases more toxins. Epsom salt baths work wonders too. I take them more often than not.

Vitamin D – A hard one to get if we are not getting enough sunlight. Even just 20 minutes a day really helps, but I know it can be hard to do in winter. It’s why I supplement with it more in the cooler months…. which is more than not here in Chicago.

Mushrooms grown in sunlight are also a great source of Vitamin D. A lot of store bought mushrooms are unfortunately not grown in sunlight, but I’ve learned we can put them outside after we buy them & they’ll readily absorb the sunshine/vitamin D. I have yet to do this however…. I just hope that some of mine were grown in the sun. Or better yet, buy from your local Farmer’s Markets when/if you have them. It’s a sure way to ask/know how our food is grown.

Thanks for joining me here on this healthy lifestyle journey! Xx Riane
