This is not everything in my cabinets and I don’t take all of them everyday, but I wanted to share my current immune support supplements incase it’s helpful to you! Remember to always do your own research though. What I take might not be right for you. Also, if you’ve followed me for awhile now and see some brand changes/switches, it’s either due to the quality changing or the price going up and me finding another alternative that I feel just as good with for myself and Mark while spending less.
And while I am so grateful for supplements, a real whole food diet with plenty of hydration, good sleep, sunlight, nature, meditation, and moving my body is what I really credit for rarely getting sick. ….even when Mark seems to bring everything home from work. Ha.
Beekeeper’s Propolis Throat + Immune Support Spray
Just a great inexpensive one for immune maintenance and dry throats. I usually keep one in my purse too since its fairly lightweight. With four sprays a day, this little bottle lasts two months. A great bang for the buck. They also have a kids spray as well.
Beekeeper’s Throat Lozenges / Cough Drops with Vitamin D, Zinc and Propolis
These are not something that I use very often, but I am happy to have them in my cabinet when I need one. I also keep one or two of these in my purse or toiletry bag for on the go. They are pricier, but they work.
Vimergy Propolis
With a whopping 1220 mg of propolis per serving, I turn to this when Mark or I have been exposed to something.
Chaga Powder
I add chaga to different hot drinks and teas for it’s immune boosting and anti-cancerous properties. It’s kind of gritty, but it doesn’t taste like much so it’s easy to add to hot drinks. An extra simple way to drink it: Steep it in hot water with a little honey at night. I often pair it with roasted dandelion tea.
Anima Mundi Pau D’Arco
I learned of Pau D’Arco when I was dealing with major candida overgrowth, but I also learned how amazing it is for the immune system. I drink it often in the winter time; Anima Mundi is my favorite brand for this. I also order Anima Mundi’s reishi as well. Everything she has is amazing and the best of the best.
Global Healing Liquid Vitamin C from Amla Extract
My current Vitamin C supplement that I’m really enjoying. It has a mild tart taste that tastes good to me.
Global Healing B12
My current B12 supplement. B12 is one of my main supplements I take. It helps with energy, mood, nervous system, and so much more.
Rowe Casa Organics Elderberry Immune Support
I am a DIY for a lot of things and I was just going to make my own elderberry syrup, but the amazing ingredients and the additional Vitamin C in Rowe Casa’s elderberry won me over. I am SO happy I had this when Mark caught the latest bug. We’ve been taking it a lot lately – the taste in incredible. It needs to be stored in the fridge.
Gaia Oil Of Oregano
This has been a mainstay in my supplement stash for a long time. I take it daily for a period of time when something is going around, but then I go back off of it. Oil of Oregano is antiseptic, antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, helps prevent and treat colds/flus/viral infections, improves respiratory issues, helps with ringworm, food poisoning (great to take before meals out), helps with ear infections and more. I first started taking it for support in getting my candida overgrowth in check. My overgrowth was so bad that I immediately felt sick from it. I stopped, worked on my gut, and then started taking it to help out when I was ready. Sharing this just incase you would have an adverse reaction….
Sovereign Silver Bio-Active Silver
I use it often during travel, when I’m around a lot of people, and in the cold months to simply boost my immunity. It’s great for sore throats, colds/viruses, infections, cuts, rashes, teeth, spraying on acne, ringworm, pink eye, and more. You can also use it as a hand sanitizer and spray the plane trays need be.
Nature’s Life Monolaurin + Zinc
Coconut is really great for the gut and this is an easy way to get some of it’s benefits in. A great one for immune support. This one contains Zinc Picolinate as well, but this bottle is without zinc if you want that.
Vimegy Cats Claw
I think of cats claw, raw garlic, raw honey, and the goldenseal below as natural antibiotics. Immune support to say the least.
Vimergy Goldenseal
Super potent tincture for colds/flus/bugs.
Vimergy Olive Leaf
Another amazing one one to shorten the duration of colds/flus.
Vimergy Zinc
I take this almost daily when I remember. Zinc, Magnesium, B12, Vitamin C, and D are ones I have been supplementing with almost daily lately.
Vimergy Magnesium Glycinate
I take two of these before bed each night. Magnesium relaxes, calms the body, the adrenals, and so much more. Higher amounts of stress equals a weaker immune system. Magnesium helps with this. I have a post on magnesium here if you want to learn more.
Vimergy Vitamin D
Another one I supplement with often especially during the Fall//Winter. I also make sure to get in sunlight each day when possible. Mushrooms grown in sunlight are also a source of Vitamin D.
I also have Vimergy’s L-Lysine capsules in my cabinet as well. I have the above Vimergy products linked on Amazon since it’s easier for me to grab pictures. I also do make a super small % from Amazon, but if you are in the US, I would order directly from Vimergy. I’m not an affiliate of them, but it will save you money as their products are less on their website. Just order enough to get the free shipping. 🙂
Immune boosting powders I add to smoothies:
Wilderness Poets Dragon Fruit powder, Camu Camu powder, Amla powder
