In honor of trying to be more mindful, I thought I would share a mindfulness gift guide. One thing I have been doing this month is picking out a card from a mindfulness deck to reflect on. Reading the messages written on these cards seems like such a simple thing, however, it helps me reflect and really think about or put into practice the message at hand. They are great reminders of how being present, being aware, and taking the time to slow down is necessary for us to be our best. I know I am a better person when I am being mindful.
Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us.

Mindfulness Gift Guide
This is the deck of cards I have been using. It contains color coded cards in the following categories: Rest & Balance, Curiosity & Joy, Insight & Awareness, and Kindness. This is a great gift for many (even for those that don’t know what mindfulness actually is). Pick a card each day, read it, reflect on it, and put it into practice. Big bonus – the packaging looks cute.
The mindfulness dice are from the same makers of the Mindfulness Cards. This format is for those who want to be more interactive. It includes 6 wooden dice and 36 mindfulness practices.
My girlfriend sent this to me in a gift basket and I thought cute, I’ll save it for a rainy day. Well, that rainy day came fairly quick. I thoroughly enjoyed coloring teacups….and it was therapeutic! Once I got going, I wanted to keep coloring. It’s a small compact book that is easy to pack and take anywhere. Just don’t forget the colored pencils and sharpener!
Who better to learn some tips on mindfulness from than a previous monk. I think everyone could take away valuable information from this book. It’s also one of those you could read, and then reread again. Over and over…..
Write down mindful rituals, thoughts, and intentions in this 100% recycled paper, made in USA journal.
Essential oil mini rollerballs that support and promote the following feelings: Confidence, Reflection, Connection, Unwind and Energy. It’s just a great little gift set.
If you are looking to splurge, look to this 100% sustainable cotton beautiful meditation set.
A mindful gift for the super young and the young at heart who loves to read or be read to.
This Unwind moon mylk bath soak encourages relaxation. When we are relaxed, we are more present and aware of where we are right now. I’m guessing you can think of someone (perhaps yourself?) who would enjoy this luxurious milky soak scented of lavender and sandalwood.
