This medjool date caramel dip makes the perfect dip for apples. It can also be made thinner or thicker in consistency depending if you want a caramel dip, sauce, spread, or a filling for raw or baked goods. Funny enough, even though I always have medjool dates on hand, I’ve only made this once prior to this past weekend. My wheels are now spinning as to what desserts I could make with it. I’m not much of a baker, but maybe just maybe I’ll get crafty with this caramel dip, sauce, spread, etc. I hope you are inspired with this healthy caramel dip as well!
P.S. It took me a long time to actually enjoy medjool dates because I never liked the taste of caramel! I was strictly eating them for the many health benefits until my taste buds enjoyed them too. So yes, if you have never had medjool dates, they taste very caramel-like. My girlfriend tasted this and she said it’s better than a regular caramel dip. So there is that too. It might also have to do with the vanilla powder I use. Pure vanilla powder is pricier, but you can always make it without as well.
