List of Fruits & Vegetables | Healthy Grocery List

I’m hoping this post is something you can resort back to when you are making your grocery lists.
This is a large list so obviously we won’t be buying everything at once, but hopefully just by scanning it you’ll remember foods you want to include for your shopping trip.
I always grab staple items, but after that, I do my best to continually switch it up and rotate different foods into my weekly meals. The more of the rainbow we eat, the bigger variety of vitamins and minerals we get in!
I did my best, but I don’t have every fruit and veggie listed here, so feel free to comment below and tell me what I’m missing. I also added some other staple items as well. ☺
List of Fruits & Vegetables | Healthy Grocery List
- aloe leaf – great for adding into lemon water or smoothies
- apples
- apricots
- artichokes
- asparagus
- avocado
- bananas
- bell peppers – Red is my #1 go-to due to the nutrient value, but I love yellow & orange as well. Green are technically unripe bell peppers and have the least amount of nutrients in them, so I prefer to buy the others.
- berries – blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries
- bok choy
- broccoli
- brussels sprouts
- carrots
- cabbage
- cauliflower
- celery
- cherries
- coconut
- coconut water
- cranberries
- cucumbers
- dulse
- eggplant
- fennel
- figs
- frozen fruit – wild blueberries, mangos, strawberries, cherries, etc.
- garlic
- ginger
- grapes
- grapefruit, pomelos
- greens – romaine, curly kale, dino kale, spinach, arugula, butter lettuce, swiss chard, etc.

Other Go-To’s:
- coconut milk
- Grains – millet, millet & brown rice noodles (simple ramen recipe), quinoa, brown rice, white rice
- GF pasta – pea pasta, rice pasta, chickpea pasta, lentil pasta,

- BPA-free canned pumpkin – I mainly like this on hand for blender pumpkin pancakes.
- Jarred Tomatoes – paste, crushed, puree/strained tomatoes, whole, diced

Well I hope this was helpful! I will be resorting back to it myself, so thanks for inspiring me to do it for all of us. 🥰 Scroll down to read my post on How To Stock A Healthy Pantry if that’s something that would interest you as well.
