A simple but important reminder that a healthy lifestyle is not all or nothing. Small changes, consistency, and finding what is sustainable to us in each season and year (as they will always change) is where it’s at.
We don’t need to be perfect. I am certainly not and I don’t aim for it. While the majority of what I put into my body is unprocessed healthy whole foods and I thrive off it and enjoy it, I also indulge in foods that fuel my soul. Even if I don’t consider them a health food, they serve a different purpose for me. Joy and a healthy mindset.
And remember, do not get yourself caught up in the comparison trap. My “imperfect” might be the next person’s “perfect” and so on. … It doesn’t matter. Celebrate where YOU are each and every step along the way. Be proud of where YOU are at and how far you have come TODAY.
It’s a journey we are on. We are always evolving and growing.
Also, allow yourself to change your mind and always follow your intuition.
